Sew Together Bag
Do you love Sewing Together with your friends, but can't keep up with all the notions you brought? Use this pattern to make The Sew Together Bag -- a useful little bag with three zippered pockets, four open pockets, a pincushion and a wool felt needle holder. The zipper closure charmingly forms a handle at each end. Once made, this bag can hold an 8-inch scissors, rotary cutter, marking pencils, seam ripper, extra needles, thread, stiletto, and more. This compact bag also makes a wonderful makeup bad, small art supplies bag, or school supplies bag, etc.

| Requirements: | You are required to have your own pattern by @Sew Demente: Sew Together Bag is very important to have all material requirements before attending class due to class time since this is not a private class. Lack of preparation on your part is not fair to others who come prepared. If you need help prior to class, you are welcome to call me personally. 1. Very important step: have all pieces cut prior to size explained i the pattern prior to class. We will start the class by constructing the bag right off. If you want to use pre quilted fabric cut to size required for each pieces before class. Lining should be ironed with stabilizer of your choice for sturdiness. Outer fabric can be lined with soft and stable or iron on batting. 2. Label and count all the pieces to assure you are not missing any pieces. 3. Don't forget the zipper foot for your particular sewing machine. 4. Clover clips are very useful since we are going to sew thick layers. 5. Have the correct numbers of zippers per pattern. You need three for inside pockets and one for the outside part of the bag. North Beach carry plenty of zippers by the yard. I will do my best to make this class educational, informative and FUN. |
