Aurora Nights: Across the Flats is, in a way, an updated version of Dana's very first design Caribou on the Kenai Flats, featuring caribou, the aurora and Mt Redoubt looming in the background, one of four active volcanos that can be seen from the west Kenai Peninsula.
This wallhanging can be made individually or combined with the other Aurora Nights wallhangings : Thru the Forest, At the Park, Along the Treetops and In the Arctic.This pattern includes the instructions for combining all five designs into one quilt.
